Testimonials

“I just can’t thank Dr. Aronov enough. We came to her well into a very difficult struggle with disordered eating with our daughter. We had tried different approaches and were really frustrated and despondent. Her ability to listen carefully, and her vast experience helping children and families, allowed her to give us an individualized plan in a compassionate yet no nonsense manner.  It honestly helped my child and my family as a whole in a way I just can’t explain in words.  I wholeheartedly recommend her if your child is having a tough time. She is simply amazing. “

“Dr. Aronov has been my children's pediatrician for over 15 years.  She became our pediatrician after cycling through quite a few and we have always been highly satisfied with her friendly, calm, relaxed demeanor and expert advice.  When I was having trouble breastfeeding my youngest child, she became my lactation consultant.  With her help I was able to breastfeed for 20 months, until my child was ready to stop.  Now that my youngest is a teenager, we came to Dr. Aronov for advice about mental health.  We were thinking she would refer us to a child psychiatrist, but instead she took her time with us, asking numerous questions to understand the situation, and carefully explaining all of our options.  She is an excellent listener and addressed our concerns.  We have a solid plan moving forward and I feel  confident having my child under Dr. Aronov's care.  We are forever grateful for all of the care she has given our family over the years and we are glad to follow her to her new practice.  She is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend Dr. Aronov for pediatric mental and behavioral health needs.”

“Most recently, my daughter began experiencing some pretty significant anxiety. She was having trouble sleeping and was often in tears before going to school. I reached out to Dr. Aronov right away and we had several phone conversations about it. It was clear in those conversations that she'd come to really understand my daughter as a person and she could provide advice and recommendations that felt very tailored. She worked with me to understand what my various options for support were, helped me think about how to approach my daughter's school, and then talked me through options for individual behavioral health support. She also had us come in for a visit so my daughter could talk to her about what she was experiencing. Dr. Aronov's gentle probing questions were helpful for identifying what was going on and the type of support my daughter might benefit from the most. Dr. Aronov also continued to follow up to see how my daughter was doing and think about ways to be supportive. I am happy to say that we're all in a good place now and I know Dr. Aronov deserves credit for that because she was such an important part of our team.”

“Dr. Aronov has been our doctor since my son was 4 days old. As a new mom, she helped me navigate all the childhood illnesses, injuries, and questions that come up along the way. “I knew Dr. Aronov was special when I met her during my first pregnancy almost 10 years ago. When I inquired about her availability for after hours calls, I assured her that I was going to try hard not to be a parent who calls the doctor all the time. Her response was essentially- "None of us know what we're going to need as parents and I'll be here to support you no matter what." I can say that nearly 10 years and two kids later, that has absolutely been the case.

Throughout the time that Dr. Aronov was my kids' regular pediatrician, I appreciated that she took the time to get to know all of us, that she never made us feel rushed, and that she went above and beyond to advocate for my kids. Both of my kids ended up having some scary health situations and Dr. Aronov was steady and incredibly available, and made many calls to specialists, hospitals, and medical personnel to make sure that my kids were receiving excellent care and that all of her and our questions were answered.  The care she has provided has always felt incredibly personal in a way I honestly have never experienced and I feel incredibly thankful for that!”

“Dr. Aronov has been our boys doctor since our eldest (age 8) was 2 days old! She has the perfect combination of knowledge, compassion, guidance & wisdom along with the incredible ability to instill confidence in parenting when it’s literally your 2nd day on the job. We always leave our appointments feeling confident that we have all the tools we need for the next steps. She listens and provides clear and caring advice during any given visit or emergency situation. We don’t know how she does it, having so many patients, but we always feel  that our boys are her first priority and I know several parents who feel the same way. This past year she has guided us on our journey with our 8 year old who has ADHD and dyslexia. There is so much to learn as a parent of a child with ADHD and she has worked tirelessly to help us get our footing and help him get the support that he needs to succeed in school and in his friendships. Dr. Aronov is like another parent to our children, that’s the kind of care she provides.”

“Words cannot describe how fortunate my kids were to have had the opportunity to be cared for by such an incredible, knowledgeable and most loving doctor/pediatrician ever. Dr. Aronov has vaccinated, treated and nurtured my kids for the past nine years. Whenever I had an emergency,  a late night question, or needed medical advice, Dr. Aronov was always available and never hesitated to assist.  My kids and I would like to "Thank you " Dr. Aronov for all you have done for us, and let you know that you will be truly missed.”

“When you know, you know.  In 2016 I was expecting my first child and scheduled a meet-and-greet appointment with Dr. Aronov a few weeks before my due date.  My daughter arrived early and our meet-and-greet appointment turned out to be her first doctor's visit.  My husband and I instantly knew that we found the perfect doctor.  Dr. Aronov was gentle with our new arrival and patient with her anxious parents as we asked her countless questions in a rapid-fire manner.  Our daughter was pre-mature and had low birth weight, so I as braved the new terrain of breastfeeding and all the other unexpected surprises of motherhood, I leaned heavily on Dr. Aronov for her medical expertise and support.  She always responded with thoughtful, tailored, advice and with words of encouragement.  A few years later when we welcomed our youngest daughter, we were so thrilled that Dr. Aronov agreed to be her doctor as well.  Our youngest daughter endured a difficult labor and was in NICU for several days.  During her very first visit with Dr. Aronov, she spotted the signs of what we would soon learn is a tethered spine.  Throughout the entire process, from the discovery to the post-surgery aftercare, Dr. Aronov was supportive and accessible.  We have no doubt that this anxiety-filled experience was mitigated by the calm and composed nature that Dr. Aronov effortlessly fills the room with, despite the circumstance.  It's bittersweet to lose her as our children's beloved pediatrician, but we are so excited for the children who will also have the wonderful experience of being under her care.”

“I first met Dr. Aronov in 2008 when my son was an infant. She was a wonderful pediatrician. Calm, attentive, excellent with children. Had useful parenting advice, warm, friendly. Everything you could want in a pediatrician! As my son got older he began to have some behavioral issues. Anger and frustration were problems for him and we started talking about getting him evaluated. Right around then, happily for us, Dr. Aronov was beginning to explore behavioral pediatric medicine and we made an appointment with her for an evaluation. She was thorough and caring, excellent with my now early-teen son. He responded so well to her. She expressed respect for him and interest in his concerns. She talked to him like a person, asked him questions, and gave him the room to explain his perspectives. She also was very thorough with the accompanying paperwork, helped me navigate a psychological evaluation from the school, and the paperwork that was needed for her own evaluation of him. After a few meetings, we decided to try medication. Dr. Aronov has simply been wonderful throughout this journey and I couldn't ask for a better person to be working with. She had known my son since he was a tiny baby and we are so happy that we can continue to rely on her for our son's behavioral needs.”

“We have been patients of Dr. Aronov for over 10 years. She has truly impacted our family in so many ways. When we first met her with a toddler and a baby, Dr Aronov not only made sure that the kids were taken care of, but her warm bedside manner and genuine empathy for what we were going through was felt by all. She is both sincere and intentional and my girls looked forward to going to see her, which is not always the case when you are going to the doctor. She never provided the easy or textbook answer but truly listened to our concerns and encouraged me to trust my “mom gut”. We will miss being able to call her our Pediatrician, however she has changed all of our lives for the better and was truly a partner in raising our young babies into young girls now!”
